What did you see at your 12 week scan?

I am due for my first scan on monday when i will be 12 weeks pregnant I was just wondering what i can expect to see?
I saw a gestational sac at 4 weeks 1 day which measured 1 and a half millimetres

I saw a baby with a recognizable head and legs and you could see the umbilical cord as well. It will be out of proportion but you will probably see it moving around. good luck and get some nice pictures to look at later (Im still looking at mine everyday now)
I am having my second scan soon and I cant wait
Oh try searching online there are lots of sites that will show you scan photos of all different stages.

you will see a baby that looks a little odd but is a baby. mine has a big head and didnt see any legs, they must have been tucked up somewhere. I found out i was a few days ahead of where i thought I was as well. I was 12+4 instead of 12 exactly weeks.
