How many nappies will i need

I am 30 weeks pregnant and have started getting all my bits n bobs. The one thing i am confused about though is nappies. We are going to use disposables but I dont know how many to get or what size to get or brand.
do i need ALOT of newborn nappies, if so what brand is best?
oh and wipes! i keep reading not to use them what does everyone else do!

I think get a fair few packs of newborn I have 5 packs at home now ready. I think they go through them pretty fast plus the newborn packs dont have many in
I am getting pampers
