Ovulation pain

hello

I am trying for my second baby, my first was a surprise (a happy one) so I am new to all the trying to conceive lingo. I was due to ovulate last week, i normally have a 32 day cycle and I calculated that last week would have been roughly the right time for me.
Last wednesday I had cramps a bit like period cramps and then wednesday night I had a really small amount of blood when I wiped. Could this mean I ovulated that day?
If so we had sex on monday and tuesday but not wednesday or thursday does this give me a good chance this month?
I hope so this is my 5 month of trying and i am starting to think it will never happen!

I have cramps like this most cycles, normally only lasts a few hours and I have never had any spotting. I think it is normal to get cramps like this - at least i assume it is I have had them as long as I remember!

ovulation pain is supposed to be a good sign for fertility i have read around places, dont really remember where!
next cycle (if you are not already pregnant!) you could try doing an ovulation test around that time to see if the cramps happen at the same time that you get a positive test.

I think the spotting could be from the follicle bursting
